Week 36

Your baby is now about 45 cm long! He has begun to fill his fat layers which will be important to help regulate his temperature after birth. Now is a great time to start talking to your bub, his hearing is fully developed and will start to know your voice. You may begin to feel increased pressure in your lower abdomen, as your baby makes its way to engaging in preparation for birth. This is also a time when you might want to go to the toilet a lot, due to increased pressure on your bladder. By 37 weeks your baby is considered full term, so you are nearly there!
