From unplanned and teenage pregnancy to happy, healthy and skilled families.

Vision

Brave Foundation is an incorporated registered charity supporting women facing unexpected and teenage pregnancy. Our primary aim is to see mothers and their children, in a happy, healthy, skilled family environment over time. We aim to see that these women have access to community support and educational services, from early pregnancy through their child’s early childhood.

Mission

• Undertake a comprehensive support, counselling and educational directory of services Australia-wide.
• Promote and collaboratively work with existing national pregnancy support and educational services.
• Provide referral to on line and telephone counselling services that will also include emergency housing referral.
• Conduct research in to the area of teenage pregnancy, to develop best standard practice recommendations for delivery of support and educational services to women and their families experiencing unplanned and teenage pregnancy.
• Brave Foundation is to be marketed heavily in Secondary Schools, Maternity Services, Outreach programs and GP’s surgeries for early outreach.
• Generate public awareness and public education resulting in support of these women, via print, radio and television press.

(*The first state to be piloted will be Tasmania and then this research will be used to market to the rest of Australian States.)
